Mark your calendar for the Chicago premiere of this insightful short documentary on an -overlooked area of Jewish history.

Directed & produced by award-winning, Chicago-based filmmaker Shuli Eshel with executive producer and historian Dr. Linda Borish, the film profiles Jewish sportswomen from Senda Berenson, the founder of women's basketball in America in the 1880s, to Olympic gold medal, skating champion Sarah Hughes.

The director and executive producer will be joined by author and sports historian Dr. Steven Riess for a post-film discussion.
